Thursday, September 17, 2026 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (PDT)

Description

As we approach the mid-point of the second Trump Administration, employers have seen drastic changes to federal employment laws and policies. The redirection of agency priorities extends to all federal statutes and regulations, including the National Labor Relations Act, Title VII, Executive Order 11246, and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. The panel will:

  • Summarize the various changes to federal law;
  • The likelihood these changes survive in future administrations;
  • The impact such changes have had on California employment law;
  • The new landscape for multi-state employers in complying with the various conflicting legal obligations; and
  • Provide insight to legal practitioners as to advise and counsel to provide both plaintiffs and defendants in employment litigation cases.
