AI is changing legal practice right now. This hands-on workshop will walk attorneys through practical AI applications step by step - this is not a lecture, it's a guided working session where attendees follow along on their laptops in real time.

We'll cover:

1. Introduction to AI for Attorneys - What it is, how it works, and why it matters for legal practice right now.
2. Best Practices for Use - How to use AI tools responsibly, including protecting client privacy and confidentiality. What to do and what not to do.
3. Recent Ethics Rules - Overview of proposed ethics rules around AI use in legal practice.
4. Hands-On AI Exercises (Primary Focus) - Attendees will work through common AI use cases step by step, ask questions, and get hands-on help in real time.

What Attendees Should Bring:

• A laptop
• A paid AI account (we recommend Claude by Anthropic, but ChatGPT or Gemini work too)
