Sixth Annual Law Day Mixer

The Civil Practice Committee, Real Property and Business Law Section and the DEI Committee cordially invites you to attend the Sixth Annual Law Day Mixer with the Bench and Bar. Law Day is a national day to celebrate the rule of law and its contributions to the freedoms Americans enjoy. Members of the Bench and Bar are invited to gather on May 3, 2023 between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. to celebrate Law Day in Santa Clara County. The event has become a popular social mixer drawing many members of the Bench and Bar. The event is co-sponsored by Greenfield LLP, Habbas and Associates and Borton Petrini, LLP.

Law Day had its origin in 1957, when American Bar Association (ABA) President Charles S. Rhyne envisioned a special day for celebrating our legal system. On February 3, 1958, President Dwight D. Eisenhower established Law Day by issuing a Proclamation. Every President since then has issued an annual Law Day Proclamation. Presidential Proclamations are published in the Federal Register. This year’s theme is “Cornerstones of Democracy: Civics, Civility, and Collaboration”.
