The Supervised Visitation Training will present an overview on how supervised visitation and exchange services operate in California including understanding the legal role and responsibilities and limitations of the professional visitation provider. The training will highlight key duties and obligations for providers; discuss various court forms; and identify recent changes to Standard 5.20 of the California Standards of Judicial Administration, effective January 1, 2022. The session will offer strategies for courts, attorneys, and providers in working effectively towards increasing uniformity and consistency of practice requirements under Standard 5.20 and Family Code section 3200.5.
