Highlights of the New C.A.R. Residential Purchase Agreement

Highlights of the New C.A.R. Residential Purchase Agreement

Tuesday, June 28, 2022 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (PDT)

Description

In December 2021, the California Association of Realtors released the most recent revision to its familiar Residential Purchase Agreement and Joint Escrow Instructions form. The purpose was to improve the clarity and ease of understanding of the terms and conditions of an agreement for residential purchase transactions. The prior 10-page form was replaced by a 16-page long form.

Jeffrey H. Lerman, Esq. (Lerman Law Partners, LLP) and Sara Naheedy, Esq. (Law Offices of Sara Naheedy) will guide us through the modifications and nuances of the new form.

This one-hour Zoom presentation will be helpful to attorneys practicing in the areas of real property, family law, and trust & estate planning, whose clients may find themselves engaged in the sale or purchase of the residential property.
