Join us for a lunch-time seminar with attorney Phil Gregory to discuss constitutional climate cases involving youth plaintiffs against the government.
As part of his work with Our Children’s Trust, Phil served as co-lead counsel on Juliana v. United States and Genesis v. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, as well as co-trial counsel in Navahine v. HawaiĘ»i Dept. of Transportation and co-lead trial counsel in Held v. State of Montana. Phil will share the science that was brought to court and the stories of children living through the climate crisis. We will discuss how climate impact litigation is an important tool to secure climate justice and the current work to secure our children’s binding and enforceable legal rights to a healthy atmosphere and stable climate.
